Online Mooring Reservations

Online mooring reservations are available for select dates, and booking windows are subject to change seasonally. If reservations are not available for your desired dates, please check back later, or contact us directly to confirm availability.

An online booking fee of $25 will be added to each reservation.  Reservations over Holiday and Event weekends, including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Buccaneer Days, are subject to nightly booking fees.

Reservation Requirements

  • Minimum stay: 2 nights
  • Holiday and Event weekends require a minimum stay of 3 nights
  • Maximum stay: 7 nights

To make a reservation, locate your boat in our system by entering your vessels CF or USCG official number, select your arrival date and length of stay, and view available moorings.

Reservations guarantee a mooring within your selected cove; however, the Harbor Department reserves the right to reassign individual moorings as operational needs require.

Once checked in, the Harbor Department may be able to extend your stay based on availability.

Important Information

  • Reservations are non-refundable.
  • Online reservations are available only for select moorings, coves, and dates.
  • Upon arrival, please hail Harbor Patrol on VHF Channel 9 to confirm your mooring assignment.
  • Online mooring assignments are subject to change.

** Please note: Catalina Island Company and Two Harbors Enterprises do not handle mooring reservations for Avalon. Please contact the Avalon Harbor Department for Avalon, Descanso and Hamilton Cove moorings.

Harbor Patrol & Shoreboat Hours

  • 24-hours - Thursday to Monday
  • 7AM - 11:30PM - Tuesday and Wednesday

Check-out is 9:00 AM.  Late check-out available for an additional fee. Note: Fees are based on the size of boat the mooring can accommodate.
